Blademaker - Dagger Regalia
Prior to 1936, Third Reich edged weapon manufacturers placed their logo (known as a maker mark) on the reverse of their blades. In 1935, manufacturers reluctantly began to replace their logos with codes assigned by the RZM Office. RZM codes were used on political blades and not used on military blades. Maker marks continued to be used on Army, Navy and Luftwaffe edged weapons until blade production ceased in 1941 (swords) and 1942 (daggers).

Details: German World War II NSKK Presentation Dagger is a popular economically priced replica of one of the more rare Nazi daggers, with fancy oak leaf and acorn high relief fittings on the scabbard and grip. The scabbard and grip are black and the fittings are an oxidized gold color and the grip includes in inset eagle and runic button. Blade is highly polished steel. This is a an excellent value and a great filler for a very rare and unusual Third Reich dagger. Overall length is 13-3/4" with an 8-3/4" blade.
