Hello,
I wanted to give you some input concerning Hans Goebeler, who became my friend. Having visited the U-505 as a youngster, I met Hans at a gun show and invited him to my home for supper. I picked up Hans, Erika, and his daughter Michelle after the show for dinner/supper. Anyway I went with Hans and others on one of the Vaterland tours to Germany where I met many other German patriots. I rode back from BWI Airport after the trip back to Florida and soon afterward went to Hans and Erika's home for the weekend. Soon Hans became ill with cancer and took some therapy. After the beginning of next year (January) Hans came by my home for supper two weeks before we lost another great person.
Hans told me many stories while with me and I still remember many of his descriptive comments as only he could do. I do have some mementos that he gave me.
I will always remember him. I also continue to stay in touch with Erika and will probably see her in a couple of weeks.
Also, I did receive my order with the book about the Reichs Chancellery (Great). I am glad I have got one before they were completely gone. I also will be sending another order within a few days for the Fuhrer Standard. You have some great merchandise!
Anyway I just wanted to express my admiration's of Hans Goebeler and I am proud to have know him.

Just wanted to share this with you about your friend Hans Goebeler.
In Sept 1997 my wife and I were in Pittsburgh Pa for a showing of items from WW 2, Hans and his family were there in a booth, I had the copy of World War 2 magazine, Hans signed the magazine and wrote a small note in it for me. The magazine has special meaning now.
Just thought you might want to hear this.
