History: Jagdgeschwader 26 (JG 26) Schlageter was a Luftwaffe fighter-wing of World War II. It operated mainly in Western Europe against Great Britain, France and the United States. It was named after Albert Leo Schlageter, a World War I veteran and Freikorps member arrested and executed by the French for sabotage in 1923.

JV44 ME-262 JET T-SHIRT
Great shirt with a diving ME-262 on the front and a list of Jet Aces on the back. The ME-262 was the forerunner of today's modern jets and a very difficult oppenent during WWII.
History: If measured by the accumulated victories of its pilots, the Jagdverband 44 (literally translated "hunting formation") was by far the most elite fighter squadron in air war history. The unit was established in February 1945 as a jet fighter squadron. The flying personnel of the squadron were made up almost exclusively of high scoring aces, or Experten. The unit's top five aces alone had more than 1,000 victories. The unit had some 50 pilots and 25 Me 262 jets, though no more than 6 of these planes were operational at any time.

History: Jagdgeschwader 52 (JG 52) (52nd Fighter Wing) was the most successful Luftwaffe fighter-wing of World War II, with a claim total of more than 10,000 victories over enemy aircraft. It was home to the top three scoring experten of the Luftwaffe, Erich Hartmann, Gerhard Barkhorn and Günther Rall. The unit flew the various marks of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 exclusively through the war.

History: JG54 was a Luftwaffe fighter wing during the Second World War. It was known as the Green Hearts Wing, and it was the second highest scoring wing of all time, JG 52 being the highest. JG 54 flew on the Eastern Front, racking up over 9,600 kills, with aces such as Walter Nowotny, Otto Kittel, and Hannes Trautloft being the most famous experten.
