The National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartel, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly referred to as the Nazi Party, was active between 1920 and 1945. Its precursor, the German Workers' Party (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; DAP), existed from 1919 to 1920. The party emerged from the German nationalist Freikorp paramilitary culture which fought against the communist uprisings in post World War I Germany created as a means to draw workers away from communism and into volkisch nationalism.

Exceptional attention to detail with this attractive set consisting of one each of the full sized and small sized Golden Party Badges contained in a superb hand made, red faux leatherette covered presentation case. The interior of the case is lined in cream velvet and is recessed to take the two badges. The lid is foil blocked with a gold party eagle and swastika. Serial numbers of badges will normally match.
