R005 - SS Wedding Ring
RARE SS WEDDING RING
The SS Wedding Ring was the official wedding ring of the Allgemeine-SS and the prestigious jewelry firm Gahr produced many of them. The ring is encircled with 12 ancient runic symbols. There was no difference in weight between the male and female rings. Reichsfuhrer-SS Himmler did not permit any gold to be used in jewelry for the SS and NSDAP, however SS couples were permited to wear this ring in gold if they so chose. However, having said that, SS men preferred the ring to be in silver the metal of their Teutonic Gods.
Our reproduction wedding ring is cast in solid 925 silver made from a first generation mold taken directly off of an original SS Wedding Ring, it is then carefully hand finished by a skilled craftsman.

We are very pleased to announce that on 01/26/08 our jeweler received a very expensive master mold for reproducing the larger sizes for the SS Wedding rings. This new mold is very extraordinary in that the new mold creates rings weighing in at 13.5 grams versus 7.5 grams for our other ring. The runes are extra crisp and the channel band edges are well formed being thicker and heavier. This reproduction is a true heirloom quality museum piece. Those of you who bought these rings in the past either from us or other sites may want to think about replacing your old ring with this exceptionally beautiful one. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Although this was a very expensive investment for our jewelry it was his way of continuing to better the quality and to be able to offer the very best jewelry available to our customers.
