These four expert-certified original Adolf Hitler watercolor paintings are being offered for sale by USM Books. These magnificent Hitler artists paintings are owned by well-known military history authors Ray and Josephine Cowdery. The four paintings were part of a lot of property belonging to an historically important Austrian Priest, a good personal friend of Adolf Hitler; the cleric who buried Hitlers niece, Angela Geli Raubal, in the Central cemetery in Wien (Vienna) in 1931. Until purchased by the Cowderys, these paintings probably never traveled more than about 40 miles from the place they were painted almost a century ago!
On a recent visit with the authors we were given the tremendous privillige of being allowed to see and touch so much history. "When I looked into each painting I imagined I was standing where the artist was and seeing what he saw as he put a part of himself into each precious work. As I studied these four magnificent watercolors I felt like I was seeing a small part of the world through Adolf Hitler's own eyes and for an instant I deeply knew him." - Michael Kelly
Ray & Josephine Cowdery purchased these four paintings as a portion of a lot that included a trunk full historical treasures which belonged to the Priest. These included the original Cemetery Burial Receipt for the body of Geli Raubal, a huge set of daily dairies spanning many years, the Austrian passports of the Priest, family and other photographs, letters, documents (including some signed by Theodor Cardinal Innitzer), newspaper clippings, maps, etc. The Priest died in 1959 and there are even photographs of his corpse in a coffin.
Because this Austrian Priest was a good friend of Adolf Hitler and an ardent National Socialist his lifetime collection of documents is a vast treasure trove of great historical interest including but not limited to the Angela Geli Raubal scandal.
There was great controversy surrounding her death but on this death certificate the priest has written that she was murdered and hence had not committed suicide. There were two coroner reports each listed a different pistol; one for suicide and one for murder. The official ruling was murder and she was buried with full honors in a Catholic cemetery.

ADOLF HITLER'S VIEWS ON ART!
Healthy art has a "healthy soul", he claimed. It should be "uplifting", "noble", and "idealistic". He considered certain themes such as the family, everday work, mythology, rural life and landscapes, the perfected human body, or the heroic soldier to be subjects worthy of art. His insistence on what he considered "normal" and "healthy" attributes obviously conflicted with the emerging schools of modern art - Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, Dadasim, etc. He claimed these "terrible aberrations" were produced by scribbblers, canvas scrawlers, mental defectives or cultural Neanderthals."
Today in the mail we received a photostat copy of this Hitler sketch "aquired from an Englishman who was in Germany in the early 1940's". We place it here for you to see and enjoy as you continue your study of Adolf Hitler the artist. - Michael Kelly
