Odin - from the Old Norse is considered the chief god in Norse paganism and the ruler of Asgard. Homologous with the Anglo-Saxon Woden and the Old High German Wotan. The name Odin is generally accepted as the modern translation; although, in some cases, older translations of his name may be used or preferred. His role, like many of the Norse gods, is complex. He is considered a principal member of the Aesir (Norse Pantheon) and is associated with wisdom, war, battle, also magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt.

ODIN HAS GROWN!
Odin has discovered spiders. YIKES!!!! He put that big noise of his somewhere where it did not belong and he got bit by a spider. The resulting allergic reaction caused his noise and one side of his face to swell up to twice its normal size. After an emergency trip to the veterinarian and a shot of Benadryl he is now all no worse for the experience but we sure hope he does not do that again!
It is just amazing how fast Odin is growing. It seems as though each morning we can actually see how much he has grown from the day before. We have also discovered that Odin has taken a liking to socks! To date we have found the eaten and processed remains of at least half a dozen socks. Now when the kids tell us they can't find a matched pair of socks to wear we know they are telling us the truth and not just trying to get out of doing laundry chores.

Hello Everyone,
We would like to introduce you to our newest PzG mascot Odin. He is an 8 week 7.4 pound very cute Old English Mastiff. His name was inspired from the movie "The Vikings" as was my beloved German Shepherd Ragnar.
He is already started in formal "puppy" classes but he is also under the stern tutorage of Leni and Heidi and the girls say to tell you that he is coming along nicely. While the girls like the new addition they are not sure they want to share their bones with him yet. They might be made to change their minds however as he grows since as an adult dog his daddy topped 200 pounds!
