Lebensraum! is an epic novel. The word means, literally, living room, space, land, a place for one's children to inherit and grow. I loved Lebensraum for its folkishness; its love of the earth; and the author's love for the people whose modern history she chronicles.

How very nice to read an epic novel completely outside of the smutty and profane world of modern American publishing. Briefly, the story is a chronicle of the German and Eastern European Christian people who came to America in the late 19th century. It covers seven generations and 200 years. - Tom Blair

MANNHEIM — A German federal court on September 12 rejected an appeal by Ernst Zündel to have his conviction earlier this year for Volksverhetzung — "mass incitement" — overturned. The charge stems from the revisionist dissident's questioning Holocaust™ dogma on the Internet and in writings while living in Canada as well as the United States, where he sought political asyum in 2000.

In denying Zündel's appeal, the court rejected 800 carefully crafted legal arguments of the defense, disregarding all consideration of facts and forensic science.

In sentencing Zündel in February, Judge Ulrich Meinerzhagen stated the government's position unequivocally: “It is of absolutely no relevance whether the Holocaust happened or not. Denying it is a punishable offense. That is the only thing that matters to the court.” (So, it seems that even this court, in its own way, allows for the possiblility that Zundel is correct in his research that the "Holocaust" did not happen. - INTERESTING!!)

The revisionist dissident will now have to serve a maximum sentence of five years' imprisonment.
