Difiance is the companion volume to Gold in the Furnace. This is her impassioned memoir of her arrest, trial and imprisonment on the charge of distributing thousands of pieces of National Socialist literature in occupied Germany in 1949. She was sentenced to 3 years but was released early through the direct efforts of India's Prime Minister. The real reason she was released was because of her positive NS influence on her fellow prisoners.
About the Author:
Savitri Devi’s works are very rare. Most of her books were printed in tiny editions and are long out of print. Many are not in the collections of even the largest research libraries. Most of her essays appeared in small circulation Indian and Right wing periodicals that are unavailable in even the largest research libraries.
