DG007 - Nazi Red Cross Leader Dagger with Sheath Replica
History: The DRK leaders dagger was introduced in February 1938 for dress wear by officers of the rank of Wachtfuhrer and above. The dagger featured a plain pointed blade that conformed to the Geneva Convention because it was not worn in the field. Although the dagger ceased production in 1940 it was worn by officers until the end of the war.
In December 1939, Hitler conferred a new legal status on the Red Cross by recognizing it as a national organization with some independence from Geneva. With this new status, the German Red Cross expanded in size. It divided its organization into two distinct branches:
Active in medicine, nursing and first aid. (Red Cross)
Charitable and social works caring for children, the old and the homeless. (Social Welfare)
During WW2, the Red Cross became involved in both the home front and the International scene, tracing and monitoring prisoners of war.
Although the members, both male and female, were on a non-salaried basis, a full-time cadre of uniformed salaried leaders supervised them. The DRK incorporated the omnipresent eagle and swastika with the International Red Cross symbol in the design of their own distinctive insignia.
The DRK President was Dr. Ernst Robert Grawitz who also held office in the SS as Obergruppenfuhrer. His duties also involved acting as Chief Police and SS medical officer.
Nazi Red Cross Leader Dagger with Sheath
Details: Life size replica of the rare Nazi Red Cross Leaders dagger. The grip is plastic and is orange in color. The cross guard has the DRK insignia at its center. The scabbard has a pebbledash finish with two circular suspension rings and separate medallion. Overall 13 inches in length.

DG008 - Diplomatic Dagger with Sheath Replica
History: The original dagger was authorised by Hitler in May 1938 to commemorate his visit to Rome. It had a stylised eagle’s head pommel and a mother of pearl grip.
The cross guard featured a national eagle with upturned spread wings; the eagles face to the viewer’s right. The eagle’s feet held a wreath with a Nazi swastika at the center.
The scabbard was identical to the Army dagger but had larger oak leaf suspension rings. The scabbard was silver plated.
Diplomatic Dagger with Sheath Replica
Details: Life size replica of the extermely rare Nazi Diplomatic dagger. The grip is plastic and white in color. The scabbard has a pebbledash finish with two circular suspension rings. Overall dagger length is 15 inches.

Your Australian customers would benefit from this. This or a similar letter would be forwarded to state police. from there a form is sent to you. you send that to customs and they send you back an authority. Takes 3 weeks.
